The Virginia Literary Awards Celebration returns to the Library of Virginia as an in-person gala event!

The 25th Annual Literary Awards Celebration, hosted by best-selling Virginia author Adriana Trigiani, includes James Beard award-winning author and culinary historian Michael W. Twitty as the featured speaker. Veteran journalist and writer Katie Couric will be honored for outstanding contributions to literature and journalism. The evening begins with cocktails, followed by a seated dinner and awards celebration and author book signings. This one-of-kind literary event raises support for and awareness of the Library of Virginia’s important mission to collect, preserve, and share Virginia's history and culture.

Awards are presented to outstanding Virginia authors in the areas of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. Also presented on Saturday evening are the People’s Choice Awards for fiction and nonfiction and the Art in Literature: The Mary Lynn Kotz Award.

Sponsored by Amazon and Dominion Energy, this festive event attracts all who enjoy the literary arts. Click here to purchase your tickets today!
