 Times bestselling author Sadeqa Johnson on her new book\, “Keeper of Lost 
 Children.” The book portrays how one American woman’s vision in post 
 WWII Germany will tie together three people in an unexpected way.\n\nEthel 
 Gathers\, the proud wife of an American officer\, discovers an orphanage 
 filled with abandoned mixed-race children of German women and Black 
 American GIs. Determined to help\, she sets out to find them homes.

 desegregated Army and meets Jelka\, a local woman whose relationship with 
 him will change everything. \n\nYears later in Maryland\, Sophia Clark 
 earns a spot at a prestigious boarding school\, only to uncover a secret

 available at the Virginia Shop.\n\nThis is a free event\, but registration 
 is required. Seating in the Lecture Hall is available on a first come\, 
 first served basis. Limited free parking is available in the deck
