To celebrate archives month, the Virginia Museum of History and Culture (VMHC) is hosting a Richmond Archives Fair on October 3, 2025 as part of their First Fridays programming. 

This event offers an opportunity for individuals to learn about archives, the collections held in various regional institutions, how to access them, and receive tips for conducting research.

The fair will begin at 5 pm at the VMHC, 428 N. Arthur Ashe Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23220.

This event is free and open to the public. It is planned as a part of larger Virginia Archives Month celebrations across the state.
