Electronic Records Town Hall
In honor of Records Management Month in April, the Library presents a virtual town hall on electronic records and recordkeeping. Mark J. Myers, senior electronic records specialist with the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, will discuss the power and the pitfalls of electronic records management, particularly the temptation to treat electronic records as different than their hard-copy counterparts. Chad Owen, the Library of Virginia’s records management manager, will discuss Virginia's updated Electronic Records Guidelines and then open the floor for questions.
