LVA On the Go | Roanoke County Public Library: South County Library
The Library of Virginia is heading your way with LVA On the Go! Our custom van is bringing Library resources, staff expertise and programming to locations across Virginia. Partnering with public libraries and other organizations, our LVA On the Go ambassadors help you engage with local history, family history, the Library’s educational materials and more.
Activities will include:
- 12:00 p.m. – Genealogy 101 (beginner family history research)
- 1:00 p.m. – Virginia Chronicle (the Library's online newspaper database)
- 3:00 p.m. – Remaking Virginia (the post-Civil War Reconstruction era in Virginia)
